Songlist and difficulties:
Here is a table with all the information I have gathered so far from Dancing Stage: Party Edition (original release). Currently it isn't really much more than a songlist! Apparently the re-released version does not differ significantly.
Brackets around a number means that it isn't
really that category song - i.e. Solo songs with no diagonals, or Battle songs
with no special steps. "!" means the steps seem harder than the number
would suggest. "?" means the steps seem easier than the number would
suggest.
Playing 'Cutie Chaser' in Battle Mode crashes my PS2, so I
can't tell if it has proper battle mode stops or not.
'Speed' crudely represents how the speed of the song changes
- each number represents a section of the song, and the higher the number, the
faster that section. So for example 3231 would be a song that starts fast, slows
down a bit, then goes back to the starting speed, then finally slows right down.
'Unlocked at' indicates the number of songs you have to pass
before that song is unlocked. Completing songs in Training Mode doesn't count,
since the songs don't have their proper steps.
There are only 51 songs. To the best of my knowledge, no-one
has found the mythical 52nd song, even people that have got an A grade on every
song at every difficulty in every mode! The re-release actual admits that there
are only 51 songs.

Scoring:
The scoring in Dancing Stage: Party Edition is exactly the
same as in Dance Dance Revolution: 4th Mix. In case you're not familiar, that
means:
-A 'Perfect' step is worth 777 points.
-A 'Great' step is worth 555 points.
-Any other step is worth no points at all.
-Whenever you have to do two steps at once, only the one you did worst
counts, both for your score and for your combo.
-Every Perfect or Great step also gets a 'Combo Bonus', equal to 333 times the
current combo (including when the 'combo' is just one step long). This bonus
isn't added if your life bar has run out, though.
The practical consequences of this are:
-The maximum possible score for any song is equal to (777*N) + 333*[(N*(N+1)/2],
where N is the number of steps in the song (two steps at once only counts as
one step).
-Getting a high combo is the most important thing for your score. Getting a
'Great' on every step in a 100-step song (and hence getting the longest possible
combo) will get you 1,737,150 points. On the other hand, getting a 'Perfect'
for every step of that same song, apart from one 'Good' on the 50th step, will
only get you 909,423 points!

out the scoring system here much easier!
